Comfort Keepers was founded in 1998 by Kris Butler, who recognized a crucial need for compassionate, non-medical in-home care within her community. Since then, our dedicated caregivers—known as Comfort Keepers—have consistently provided heartfelt, practical assistance to seniors and individuals with disabilities. Our purpose has remained clear from the beginning: enriching lives through compassionate service.
Our guiding philosophy inspires every organization member, from franchise owners to our compassionate caregivers. Many have joined Comfort Keepers either due to our strong reputation for quality care or from firsthand experience navigating support options for aging loved ones. Every choice we make is centered around our primary goal: enhancing our clients' and their families' quality of life.
