Client Care Manager for Ashtabula County
Sarah Howe is the Ashtabula County Client Care Manager. She began her career with Comfort Keepers in 2007 as a Caregiver and transitioned to the role of Client Care Manager in 2017. She is a lifelong resident of Ashtabula, OH. Sarah loves that she can give back to the community that she grew up in and always finds a way to make a connection with the Clients and families that she meets. In her spare time, she is also the Head Volleyball Coach at Saint John High School. Sarah is a member of the Ashtabula County Senior Care Network and a member of LEADERship Ashtabula County.
Leslie Pethtel
Client Care Manager for Lake and Geauga Counties
Leslie Pethtel is the Lake and Geauga County Client Care Manager and has been with Comfort Keepers for 9 years. Leslie is a lifelong resident of Painesville, OH. She’s been married for 26 years with 3 grown children. Leslie began caring for seniors with her own grandfather and has turned that experience into a lasting, passionate career. What brings Leslie joy is allowing Clients to share the stories of their past and bringing purpose and meaning to their lives. Leslie is an active member of the Association of Specialists in Aging (ASA) and the Professional Association Specializing in Seniors (PASS).
Lori Kennedy
Human Resource Manager
Lori Kennedy is the Human Resource Manager for the Painesville office. She currently resides in Ashtabula and is married with one son. Lori attended Kent State University majoring in Respiratory Therapy and has always taken great pleasure in taking care of others, especially the senior population. That passion is what eventually brought her to Comfort Keepers as a Caregiver in 2017. In 2022, she took on the role of HR. When she isn’t working, Lori loves spending time with her two pups!
Terry Pece
Scheduler
Terry grew up in Euclid, OH, and resides in Mentor, OH. She has 3 adult children, 2 daughters and one son. She also has a four-legged “daughter” named “Willow Jane”, an adorable Corgi/Beagle mix. Terry has worked in the caregiving field, in one way or another, for almost 20 years. She was a Client Care Manager for 3 years with another agency and truly loved throwing on scrubs and heading to a client’s home. Terry recently began working with Comfort Keepers of Painesville in January 2024 as the Scheduler. She says the most rewarding part of Caregiving is getting to know the clients and developing a “working” relationship with Clients and Caregivers!
