Kristin Kane
Owner
Kristin Kane is the owner of two Comfort Keepers franchises. She and her husband Michael purchased the businesses in July 2017, shortly after their 2016 move to South Carolina. Both Kristin and Michael worked in the corporate world, having lived in New York, England and Switzerland. They recently celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary and are parents to three teenage boys (Ethan, Ryan and Brendan). Their Golden Retriever, Lucy, joined the family in 2018!
"When I read Comfort Keepers "Elevating the Human Spirit" mission statement, I immediately thought of how I feel when I "pay it forward". It resonated with me. The concept is more than simply providing everyday care; it is an expression of how that care is delivered. Weaving this message into everything we do is what sets Comfort Keepers apart."
Jamie Tino
General Manager
Jamie has devoted the last ten years of his career working in the healthcare industry. He joined Comfort Keepers two years ago after moving to Myrtle Beach from New York City. Jamie's wealth of knowledge in home healthcare is a valuable asset to our team. His role as a Client Onboarding Specialist combined with his expertise as a resource and liaison within the community, are paramount to our success here in the Grand Strand. Jamie is committed to ensuring our clients are comfortable and informed throughout the onboarding process.
When Jamie isn't working, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Lauryssa and daughter Siena. You'll often find them at the beach or pool as Siena loves the water! He also enjoys golfing and adventures with his dog, Scrap.
"Doing for" may get the task done, but "doing with" stimulates thoughts, brings joy, and builds a sense of pride.
Patricia Gonzalez
Operations Manager
Pat has over 30 years of homecare experience. She served our country for 8 years as a Hospital Corpsman in the United States Navy. Originally from New York, Pat was raised in a military family and has dedicated her life to serving others. The newest member of the Comfort Keepers office team, she joins us as the new Human Resources/Recruiter. She has several ties in the community since she previously held an operational role in homecare in the area and owns a family thrift store.
Pat has been married to her husband for 30 years, and when not hard at work recruiting, you will find her at the gym or out enjoying her family and friends. Pat has 4 adult children, 5 grandchildren, and 2 Maltese dogs names Blanca and Romero. Pat also loves to go dancing.
"Helping others without receiving, is the greatest gift you can give" It takes a special group of people to work in homecare. It's the gift that keeps on giving!
