Comfort Keepers was started as a companion service in Syracuse, NY in 2003 by Ian and Michele Webber who combined Ian’s sales experience with Michele’s nursing background in hopes of meeting the increasing needs of our elderly population. We identified a need for more assistance to the elderly population wanting to stay in their homes and not yet ready to go to “the next level” of care. We also realized that this isn't always possible especially without family close by to lend a helping hand.

In 2007, Comfort Keepers became a licensed in home care agency in New York State able to offer a wide variety of services ranging from companionship, light housekeeping, meal preparation and medication reminders to assistance with personal care by an NYS certified home health aide under the supervision of a registered nurse.

Our goal is to provide the best in home care possible to ensure the safety, mental, and emotional well being of our elderly population. This is made possible by hiring compassionate, dependable and reliable caregivers.
