About Comfort Keepers Home Care of Rochester, New York
Since 2004, we have provided home care services to seniors in the Rochester, New York, area. We opened our Comfort Keepers office for two reasons. First and foremost, we enjoy assisting others and the rewarding experience of it! It's incredible how much our clients and their families value our Comfort Keepers and ourselves. Second, we understand how critical it is for seniors to remain home. My own family witnessed this firsthand. My father was diagnosed with lung cancer in 1999 and was eventually admitted to hospice care. He made it clear that he needed to spend the rest of his life in the house he had lived in for over 40 years. My mother, sisters, and I, along with the hospice care agency, can grant that wish by providing him with 24-hour care. We will be eternally grateful that we were able to do so for him.

The quality senior care provided by the Comfort Keepers' service is a direct reflection of the excellence of our caregivers. Our carefully selected senior caregivers offer a range of home healthcare services to clients part-time or full-time. Before a candidate can become a Comfort Keeper, they are rigorously interviewed and evaluated, and extensive background checks are conducted on each potential hire. Every Comfort Keeper is our employee and is insured, bonded, and covered by Workers' Compensation. This gives our clients and their families peace of mind. In addition, we are committed to ensuring that our caregivers receive essential training to do their jobs and provide in-home care to your complete satisfaction.
Alzheimer's and Dementia Care
Our Rochester, NY Comfort Keepers Home Care office specializes in Alzheimer's and Dementia senior care. We have gone through extensive training at the Rochester Alzheimer's Association. We have used that knowledge to educate our Caregivers on how to effectively care for those with Alzheimer's and Dementia. In addition, several of our Caregivers have been trained at the Alzheimer's Association to become certified Dementia Care Specialists. The Alzheimer's Association utilizes Dementia Care Specialists to provide respite care for those family caregivers who could use a much-needed break.
