"Dad, who has dementia, came to live with us after Mother's unexpected death. I was reluctant to leave a stranger alone in my house with Dad, so for several months I had to plan appointments and errands around my husband's work schedule, and we could not go out together since someone had to stay with Dad. Initially, I used Comfort Keepers for occasional respite, then, scheduled regular coverage, which I have increased as Dad declines and his care becomes more demanding. "In the 4th quarter of 2011, I was directed to Comfort Keepers Home Health Care Agency by a co-worker. From my first contact with the office, I was given complete and specific direction in completing the online information to apply for the position.
