Learn more about the full range of independent senior home care services provided by Comfort Keepers® of Flemington, NJ.
Finding out that your parents might need a little extra help around the house due to their age, health, or physical condition can come as quite a shock. No one truly ever wants to admit when this time has come, but it happens to a number of seniors in Washington Borough. When it does happen many families choose to take on the role of home care provider rather than sending their loved ones to a nursing home or assisted living facility. While this is a wonderful gesture, most families are not aware of the physical, mental, and emotional toll providing this type of care can have on them and their family. The reality is that trying to balance a career, taking care of your own family, keeping your home up, and caring for your elderly loved one can be exhausting. Comfort Keepers® understands this and is here to help.
Comfort Keepers® of Flemington, NJ has been providing in-home care services for families in Washington Borough and all of Warren County since 2006. We believe there is nothing more important than helping people live independently, safely and happy in the comfort of their home, for as long as possible. We work closely with families to customize a plan that provides a perfect balance of home care services, from as little as three hours a visit to full-time, 24/7 around-the-clock home care. More importantly, we will treat your loved one with respect and dignity, as if they were a member of our own family.

Our in-home care places an emphasis on seniors staying active, both mentally and physically. Seniors are encouraged to participate in activities that are mentally stimulating, perform physical activities, and socialize with others. Through Interactive Caregiving™, our caregivers, interact with seniors in physical, mental and social activities they look forward to—going on walks, reminiscing, working on crossword puzzles or a cherished hobby, visiting favorite people and places. This includes conversation and activities that engage and enrich the physical, mental, social, and emotional lives of seniors. We still provide the essential home care services as light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, personal care and live-in care that help seniors live happily and safe in the comfort of home.

About Washington Borough, NJ:
Washington Borough, named for America’s first President, separated from Washington Township, which completely surrounds it, in 1868. The borough is one of more than ten communities statewide named in honor of the first president. During the late 19th and early 20th centuries, the borough became a mecca of musical instruments manufacturers, the manufacture of organs in particular. A bustling downtown developed around these businesses. Many of the Victorian style houses in the borough, as well as Taylor Street School were built during this period. Washington Borough is home to the historic Washington Theater which was built in 1926 for silent movies and vaudeville. It proudly proclaimed itself the “Showplace of Northwestern New Jersey”, and is still in use today with the latest movies as well independent film festivals, live bands and more.
