We employed Comfort Keepers of Edison to take care of me while my wife was out of town. Meghan came to our apartment to do the free assessment. Although we had never met her it was as though we had an old friend visiting. She was very professional, friendly, and personable. She put our mind at ease, that she would see to it that I would be taken care of. On Monday, my home health aide Jennifer arrived promptly (as she did each morning for the week) along with Meghan. Meghan got her situated, stayed for a while, and left Jennifer and I to get acquainted. Jennifer was more than we could possibly have hoped for. She took extremely good care of me, never leaving me in need of anything. She never left my side, except to tidy up the apartment, even though we did not require her to do that or even ask her to do so. At one point, I got busy on my laptop and realized she was missing from my room. She re-appeared with broom and dust pan in hand! Upon my wife's return, she told me the kitchen counter and stove shined! On her last day, Jennifer insisted the bed sheets be changed, not only for my comfort, but she thought my wife would enjoy coming home to clean sheets and did not want my wife to have to change them when she got home. To say we were happy with Jennifer would be a grave misstatement. She was more than we expected. her care and attentiveness was more than we could have hoped for.
