I can’t say enough good things about the service and care that Comfort Keepers in Kalispell gave to my Mom. Becky was the person that came to her house once a week and helped Mom with whatever she needed. She was kind and Mom really enjoyed her being there. Even just to keep her company and visit with her. Whenever there was any issue that my Mom mentioned to Becky, she reported it and the people working in the office made sure that they called and told me.
I would give them the highest marks for the job everyone did.
They are excellent! Comfort Keepers Home Care responded immediately when we needed sudden care for my 91-year-old Dad. Shelley was very supportive and set up outstanding caregivers to take care of Dad. We are forever grateful to her and her responsible and compassionate staff! We highly recommend Comfort Keepers Home Care.
"I want to personally thank you for taking care of my mom during her last days. Your time with her was special and helped make her comfortable. I have a newfound respect for the care you give people. You are truly special."
"Five stars isn’t near enough for the staff at comfort Keepers!! I want to thank you all for helping keep my mother and father in law home. During a difficult time you all came in and have given wonderful, loving care not only to them but to all of the family that lives out of state. Keeping us updated on everything and insuring that every shift is covered is has helped lift some of the weight off our shoulders. Again thank you for all you do for so many!"
"In searching for a personal caregiver for my father, I was most impressed talking on the phone with the Kalispell Comfort Keepers staff. I myself have been a personal care attendant and a CNA, both for personal care in home and in hospitals. Communication and trust are most important when you find someone to take care of your loved one. Comfort Keepers was helpful in setting things up and very conscientious in regards to his daily plan. They let me know any information that has come up, i.e. stocking up on his personal items, changes they might have observed and communicating to me anything new that has occurred. I would recommend Kalispell Comfort Keepers to anyone who might need a little extra tender loving care, and I have no worries that my father is being well taken care of."
"I could always rely on Comfort Keepers to answer their phone personally to assist me, no matter what time, day or evening, weekends or holidays. When I was faced with finding in-home care assistance for my aging parents, I turned to Comfort Keepers. This proved to be the best choice for In-Home Care for many reasons. Comfort Keepers demonstrated professionalism at every level, from their qualified caregivers to their efficient team of administrators. My loved one required assistance just short of 24/7 care which demands great accountability, reliability, trust and communication. Comfort Keepers displayed all of these necessary qualities on a daily basis. As a physician, my schedule can be quite challenging but I could always rely on Comfort Keepers to answer their phone personally to assist me, no matter what time, day or evening, weekends or holidays. Their staff listened intently to all directives I would give them, down to the finest of details. I also appreciated their concern for my loved one's continuity of care through their ability to manage and maintain a consistent team of caregivers that my family came to trust and respect. I highly recommend and refer Comfort Keepers to friends, family and patients in need of In Home Care."
"I just want to express my appreciation for the wonderful care that the entire team of Comfort Keepers provided my mom and her husband (and me!) up until they could no longer stay in their home and had to move into an Assisted Living facility. When it became apparent that my mom and her husband were having difficulty managing their day-to-day activities like bathing, cooking, shopping for necessities, going to doctor's appointments, and began having memory issues and worsening health problems, I struggled to find a solution. Living 2000 miles away from them provided some unique challenges. I then remembered an organization that is very well thought of here in Maine called Comfort Keepers, so I checked on-line and discovered there was an office in Kalispell. From the initial phone call I knew I had made the right decision. My first contact, Tamera, was a seasoned professional who explained the entire process and continued to be a wealth of knowledge moving forward. Her level of expertise was evident in every conversation we had. Shelley was another person who made a significant impact on the level of care mom and her husband received. Both she and Tamera were always available to speak to when I had questions, and offered great suggestions during challenging times. For example, mom was having some memory issues and kept mixing up the meds for her and her husband. So after running it by me, next I knew there was a secure lock box in the house and mom was being supervised as she dispensed the meds. Problem solved! Mom enjoyed the company of the caregivers as they helped around the house, took her for walks, or simply baked cookies with her. In addition to receiving excellent care, an added benefit was that she was socializing again which had been lacking for years. I was pleasantly surprised when one of the caregivers actually got mom's husband in the shower! No easy feat, believe me. He then grew to accept their assistance and along with that came trust. One day, shortly after mom and her husband moved into an Assisted Living facility, one of the caregivers actually stopped by and had lunch with them. Now that's dedication! I would recommend Comfort Keepers not just for the services they offer, but for the way they offer the services! Kindness, compassion, devotion, skill all equals peace of mind."
"I highly recommend Comfort Keepers for in-home care. As an RN, I recognize quality care when I see it, and I was very impressed with the personal care assistants who took care of our mother. They demonstrated the highest levels of integrity and kindness, always treating Mom with dignity and respect. They were faithful about showing up, and went out of their way to see that her every need was met and that we were kept informed about any changes they noted. They worked diligently to keep her mobile and independent for as long as was possible. Mom very much enjoyed her interaction with these aides – they listened to her, entertained her, interacted with her and generally made her life more pleasant. I was contacted by management about every issue that was potentially serious and was very satisfied with the level of administrative involvement. Comfort Keepers was a welcome change after dealing with several other home care agencies, and I have passed this information on to friends in need of these services. Thank you Comfort Keepers. You not only made our mother's life better, you relieved us of much worry and concern when we could not be there."
"In February, my mom required care 24 hours 7 days a week. I was not willing to put her in a nursing facility and brought her to my home. I work and needed help. I initially phoned all of the caregiving companies in the Valley and received much the same information from all of them. My first choice was a random choice as they all sounded the same on the phone. Although the people were nice, I made a change to Comfort Keepers and only wish I would have done it sooner. I wish I would have chosen Comfort Keepers first. I have been very happy with them. Administratively, they are very efficient and easy to communicate with. The caregivers that have been to my home have all been on time, trustworthy, competent and nice and I have had no worries whatsoever. My mom has had no complaints and seems happy with the caregivers we have had. Comfort Keepers has been a bright spot in this difficult time. I am very pleased with the service they provide and would highly recommend them."
"I wish to acknowledge the superb contributions to my mother's safety and well-being made by the people of Comfort Keepers. Not only did you arrange for her care on very short notice, but every caregiver who came to the house was well prepared for her difficult work. Every one of them was compassionate and skilled and added a unique touch to her care."
"Thank you so much for the assistance you gave us. We were at the end of our rope and didn't know who to turn to. We knew Dad didn't want to go to a nursing home, but we couldn't stay with him 24/7 and carry on with our lives. I was going to quit my job so I could stay with him when Comfort Keepers came into our lives. You were a Godsend."
"There are no words to express my gratitude and thankfulness for the loving care my parents received from Comfort Keepers when they could no longer care for themselves. Royalty - they treated my parents like royalty. How can you thank someone for their incredible patience in dealing with my mother’s dementia. My humble thanks."
"They are exceptional. Saw to our needs and then some."
"My name is Carolyn Lopez and I am a Registered Nurse at Big Sky Family Medicine. I am writing this letter to simply tell you what a wonderful job you are doing and what a difference you make in our community. Your staff at Comfort Keepers have always gone above and beyond to make sure that not only are their clients happy, safe and well cared for, but they make an effort to connect with them and gain their trust. I feel that this is so important and probably the key to their success. Comfort Keepers continually works with the families and staff at BSFM to ensure that the client is getting proper care. In addition to being proficient in all expected duties, the staff at Comfort Keepers has made my job a lot easier in reaching the patients at home who cannot always physically get in to see the provider. They never have a problem when I call about a patient even when they have a heavy patient load. They will always find the time to help and they are such a welcomed addition to this valley. I personally will look no further when selecting quality care givers for our patient's homes."
"As my Mom was declining, she became hard to manage at the facility she had been at for 3 years. If it had not been for Comfort Keepers we would have had to put her in a nursing home. Our Angel was named Kay and she became a companion for my Mom. Just spending the precious time we all have, Kay hung out with my Mom and offered her so much peace of mind that someone was there if she needed them. She kept us informed on my Mom's condition and was ready to do anything for her and us. Tamara made us feel like we were her only client and was so available for questions and comfort. I would highly recommend Comfort Keepers to anyone needing assistance with a loved one."
"I rated them five stars because they don't give an option for more than that. We could not be happier with the care my mom has been getting from all the caregivers she has had. Because she gets daily care she sees several different caregivers through the week and all of them are great and caring people. The office staff are wonderful to talk to as well answering any questions or concerns I have had. Their flexibility is second to none If you are looking for a caregiver company we highly recommend them."
"My sister, my brother and I were in a tough situation. My mom died three years prior and my dad’s challenges with dementia were escalating. My father, a very independent stanch business owner believed he could still take care of himself, his animals, affairs and his big house. As things deteriorated, we tried to do all we could for him. At the same time, we needed him to keep his dignity. “No!” was his answer for getting more help. Fortunately, we had hired Comfort Keepers on a limited base. As the situation grew to nearly out-of-control, we met with Tamara and she recommend, “We up the hours to 12 per day”. We agreed and even though it was not pleasant at first, the more my dad got used to the Comfort Keepers team, he began to like the additional company. The team cooked three times a day, ensured he took his medications, fed and cared for the pets and kept the house clean and organized. Most of all, it reduced the terrible amount of stress we were feeling as siblings. Everything improved and father lived the last year of his life in his own house. Comfort Keepers and their group of angles saved our family."
