Every member of our team is professional and well trained. We conduct a thorough screening and interviewing process to identify the best home care providers, and only those who pass this process go on to complete training to deliver our special brand of home care and become Comfort Keepers®. What truly sets our people apart, though, is their natural gift for caring for others. 

All Comfort Keepers pass extensive background checks and complete continuing education. They are bonded, insured and covered by workers' compensation insurance to protect our clients and their families.

Meet the Owner

I am Roy Schultheiss, owner of the Bay City Comfort Keepers.  Before opening Comfort Keepers, I watched my in-laws struggle with caring for my father-in-law’s mother.  I watched as my mother-in-law took care of her mother-in-law, and saw the strain that it put on the entire family. It nearly ended their marriage of 40 years.
 

When I heard about the services that Comfort Keepers offers, I knew that this was an organization that I could believe in. I started the Bay City Comfort Keepers in 2002, and am proud of the services that we offer to clients; including our newest services -- Private Duty Nursing and a Mini-Visit service.  
 

I am especially pleased to be able to offer our new Mini-Visit service to residents in our area. This has been requested by clients and prospective clients for some time, and we are glad that we can now offer these mini-visits for clients who don’t need someone to stay with them all day, but would be comforted by someone stopping by to check on them, fix them a meal, make sure they take their medication or just chat for a few minutes.
