Lisa, Tony and I would like to express our deepest thanks to all of the CNAs who helped Mom and us out during the months she was with us. In particular, two of them seemed to rise to the top in the way they worked with Mom. Mom got along with these two special ladies particularly well. They are Tiffany Noel and Sonja Rice. Although Mom had her good days, there were times when she definitely showed how unhappy she was with her loss of independence. During those times, she became irritable, resistive to assistance and, at times, flat-out uncooperative with the process of getting cleaned up, transferred from bed to chair and back, and moved from one room to another. Tiffany and Sonja never lost patience with Mom, dealing with her emotional ups and downs in a consistently kind and compassionate manner. In the process, they almost always were able to change Mom's mood from grumpy to pleasant. It made Mom's days happier to have two such special people helping her out. Please let them know how much we appreciated their help.
Dear Mr. McMullen, I would like to thank Comfort Keepers for the wonderful care my father, Raymond, has received this year. I greatly appreciate the kindness and understanding your staff has provided during this difficult time for my family. It is so comforting to know that my Father is in good hands. My family has had caregivers for the past 15 years. We took care of other Mother who was paralyzed after a stroke. It was and still is very difficult to see the parent that used to be so independent, now be totally helpless. I wish we knew of your services during that time. As I am sure you know, good caregivers are hard to find. I would like to recognize Mike and the amazing job he has done taking care of my father. He is a great caregiver with an outstanding work ethic. He is reliable, energetic, and compassionate. He is also very conscientious of every task he performs. I would like to take a moment to recognize the efforts of your staff and caregivers in giving last-minute care for my mother following her recent hospitalization for pneumonia. My aunt is a regular client of Comfort Keepers but my mother is only an occasional client following any illnesses. I realize that as we did not know exactly when she would be discharged, or to what level of care would be required once home, it was a challenge for your office staff to put together a schedule for care after discharge. As a result of the extra care she received while recovering I was able to get back to work as usual and now my mom is back in her own home doing well. Thank you for your caring service of my loved ones.
Comfort Keepers has been a blessing for my Dad, Ray. While he doesn't require much care it's nice knowing someone is there to make sure he eats and takes his medications. As the daughter of a 92 year old mother, I first sought help from Comfort Keepers in 2010. Mom and I have continued with Comfort Keepers because we find their assistance highly competent and invaluable. We both highly recommend their services.
Comfort Keepers is a wonderful agency that has provided companionship and transportation for our father who resides in a nursing home. He is still able to leave the nursing home, so the services of Comfort Keepers has allowed our father to be more mobile to visit local restaurants and stores. My sister and I both live an hour away from him. We often visit but cannot be there to provide transportation during weekdays. Comfort Keepers has provided transportation for our father twice a week for the past 5 years. The staff has been very caring, reliable and professional. My sister and I are very pleased to rely on their services to aid in the care of our father.
