My 91 year old father needed more daily care in his home in Brunswick. I live out of state and needed to partner with care givers and a professional company that could help my father with his daily needs in his home. From the first meeting with Paula at Comfort Keepers my fears and anxieties were discussed. How do they train and screen their staff. Will me father have one caregiver or several. What services will care givers do daily . Paula came to my father’s home, spent time with my father discussing his needs and how they could help. We have been working together for several months now and the caregiver that Paula placed with my father are a wonderful addition to our family. My father is able to stay in his home because of the care and help we are getting from Comfort Keepers.
When we needed in home care for our parents, Comfort Keepers was quick to respond. They were there when we needed them. From the earliest visit, the caregivers demonstrated a personal interest in our parents. They routinely do extra when needed, and have shown willingness to learn to do activities that our mother enjoys. They have also shown patience and understanding when either Mom or Dad were having a difficult day. In addition to providing care, Comfort Keepers has been very helpful with the administration of obtaining in-home care. They handle all the paperwork related to the insurance billing, and they are flexible with scheduling. Further, Paula keeps regular contact with the family, and keeps us well informed. We have been very fortunate to be able to work with Comfort Keepers.

I am happy to recommend Comfort Keepers to anyone who needs highly trained and compassionate caregivers to care for their loved one. My mother was at an assisted-living facility, but needed extra care due to a fall & hip injury. Comfort Keepers staff filled that need extremely well. They gave her some companionship and nurturing along with helping with physical needs. I arranged for them to come back a second time as her mental and physical state was declining further so extra assistance was needed to help start her day. I have been very happy with all of the staff that was so very helpful in helping my mother in her final days.
