"It has probably been over 2 years since I first invited you to my mother's home. I remember being so nervous about leaving her with people I didnt know. But meeting you and hearing you talk about how you screen your caregivers really assured me that my mother was going to be in good hands. However, I can't say I didnt continually check up on things in the beginning as any mother would protect her child and now a daughter protecting her mother. My mother was really lucky to have had such good people come into her home to keep her company, help her wash clothes, bathe her, just chatting. At the age of 90, she still needed to know that she was still somewhat independent. I especially want to thank Pat. She was great and I will always remember her. Pat really cares and enjoys being a caregiver. I recommend Comfort Keepers to every one of my friends and co-workers who need assistance with their parents. I will truly miss my mother and the tines we shared together, but in my heart I know that she wasnt lonely. She had her family, friends and Comfort Keepers.
