Village of Vernon Hills
The village of Vernon Hills began as a small, 125-house subdivision built by developers Quinn Hogan and Barney Loeb. Incorporated in 1958, it grew from a few hundred residents to 5,600 during its first two decades. During the early years, the lobby of a local motel housed both police headquarters and the village hall and official business was conducted in the home of the village clerk. In the 1980s, lands were annexed that would ultimately become the Corporate Woods business park and Centennial Crossing residential development. Today, the former tiny subdivision is a suburb of more than 25,000 residents, who can shop at the Hawthorn Mall, tour the historic Cuneo Mansion & Gardens, or enjoy the village’s golf courses, parks and Family Aquatic Center. Comfort Keepers has been proudly serving Vernon Hills seniors and families since 2000.
Sometimes a little help means a lot.
Comfort Keepers provides industry-leading home care services that allow seniors in Vernon Hills to continue living independently – and safely – in their own homes. For the Comfort Keepers team, our work is personal: we care for your loved one as if they were a member of our own family.
The first step in starting a relationship with Comfort Keepers Vernon Hills is simple, but it is the key to our overall success. Our experienced home care professionals will meet with you and your loved ones to assess the senior’s medical condition, living environment and personal preferences. This allows for the creation of a comprehensive plan of service, tailored to a client’s individual needs. During this meeting, we can discuss options such as:
- Personal Care
- Companion Care
- Interactive Caregiving
- Respite Care
- Transitioning/Post-Surgical Care
- Alzheimer’s Care and Dementia Care
- End-of-Life Care
Comfort Keepers Vernon Hills also works in partnership with Brookdale in Vernon Hills and The Springs of Vernon Hills to better serve our clients and families.
