Village of Morton Grove
English immigrants moved into the Leigh-Beckwith area of Morton Grove in the 1830s and by 1872, the Milwaukee Railroad set up the first train stop in town. One of the earliest businesses, the Poehlmann Brothers Company, employed hundreds of residents and even won first prize for its roses at the 1904 World’s Fair. During the Roaring Twenties, Chicagoans came to Morton Grove to play slot machines at its roadhouses, paving the way for more commerce and light industry to follow in the 1940s. The opening of the Edens Expressway fostered new growth in the 1950s, but village officials vowed to maintain the suburban atmosphere that remains to this day. Comfort Keepers has been privileged to serve Morton Grove families since 2000.
Sometimes a little help means a lot.
Comfort Keepers provides industry-leading home care services that allow seniors in Morton Grove to continue living independently – and safely – in their own homes. For the Comfort Keepers team, our work is personal: we care for your loved one as if they were a member of our own family.
The first step in starting a relationship with Comfort Keepers Morton Grove is simple, but it is the key to our overall success. Our experienced home care professionals will meet with you and your loved ones to assess the senior’s medical condition, living environment and personal preferences. This allows for the creation of a comprehensive plan of service, tailored to a client’s individual needs. During this meeting, we can discuss options such as:
- Personal Care
- Companion Care
- Interactive Caregiving
- Respite Care
- Transitioning/Post-Surgical Care
- Alzheimer’s Care and Dementia Care
- End-of-Life Care
Comfort Keepers Morton Grove also works in partnership with Bella Terra Morton Grove and the Illinois Bone and Joint Institute in order to better serve our clients and families.
