Village of Glenview
Settled in the 1830s by European pioneers, Glenview was originally a land of prairie grasses, oak trees and streams. (The Kennicott family arrived in 1836; their 82-acre nature preserve, The Grove, is National Historic Landmark.) By its 1899 incorporation, Glenview had train service via the Chicago & Milwaukee Railroad, as well as several roadhouses and inns. The 1923 construction of the Curtiss-Reynolds Airport preceded the establishment of the Glenview Naval Air Base during World War II. The latter would eventually become a mixed-use residential, recreational and retail area known as The Glen in the mid-1990s. Comfort Keepers has proudly served Glenview seniors and families since 2000.
Sometimes a little help means a lot.
Comfort Keepers provides industry-leading home care services that allow seniors in Glenview to continue living independently – and safely – in their own homes. For the Comfort Keepers team, our work is personal: we care for your loved one as if they were a member of our own family.
The first step in starting a relationship with Comfort Keepers Glenview is simple, but it is the key to our overall success. Our experienced home care professionals will meet with you and your loved ones to assess the senior’s medical condition, living environment and personal preferences. This allows for the creation of a comprehensive plan of service, tailored to a client’s individual needs. During this meeting, we can discuss options such as:
- Personal Care
- Companion Care
- Interactive Caregiving
- Respite Care
- Transitioning/Post-Surgical Care
- Alzheimer’s Care and Dementia Care
- End-of-Life Care
Comfort Keepers Glenview also works in partnership with Abington of Glenview, Belmont Village Assisted Living, Glenview Senior Center, Glenview Terrace Nursing, JourneyCare Hospice, and Vi Independent and Assisted Living in order to better serve our clients and families.
