Comfort Keepers has been serving Valdosta and Lowndes County since April 2009. Owners, Scott and Lisa Register, realized the need for in-home care designed for seniors in the Valdosta area after dealing with the needs of their own parents. Valdosta is the population and business hub of south central Georgia. The strategic placement of our office in Valdosta allows us to effectively serve Lowndes and neighboring counties.
Our Services in Valdosta
Comfort Keepers approach of Interactive Caregiving allows us to interact with seniors by accompanying them on excursions that appeal to them. Many of our clients enjoy trips to church, the Annette Turner Arts Center, and Valdosta State University events including, ball games, plays, concerts and lectures. The Valdosta area also offers many social clubs and fine dining opportunities that our seniors love to visit. Comfort Keepers believes that keeping our seniors active in mind and body supports your loved one in living a better-quality and more fulfilling life.
Community Involvement
At the Valdosta Comfort Keepers, we believe in giving back to our community. The Valdosta Lowndes Chamber of Commerce was very supportive in our mission to start and develop an effective in-home care business. Now, Lisa proudly serves as an Ambassador for the chamber.
Lisa and Scott have had several family members that have been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, so they devote their time and money to the Alzheimer’s Association in honor of their loved ones. Lisa communicates with local organizations about senior care and how Comfort Keepers can assist in providing a safe and healthy environment for our clients.
Comfort Keepers works hand in hand with our local hospitals, hospices, skilled home health care, churches, assisted living and nursing homes. We provide personalized care for your family members, when it is needed.
