From The Beginning
Comfort Keepers opened its first location in 1998, when founder Kris Butler was working as a registered nurse. Kris spent most of her time caring for patients who required more than just medical attention; her patients needed companionship, moral support, and assistance with daily chores and tasks. Thus, with the goal of keeping clients in their own homes as an alternative to expensive nursing facilities, Comfort Keepers was born!
Today, Comfort Keepers has independently owned and operated locations throughout 12 countries. Each location embraces the Comfort Keepers mission of elevating the lives of seniors, bringing joy to our clients, and offering peace of mind to their family members.
