Comfort Keepers Home Care Offers Elder Care Services to Veterans Throughout Pasadena, CA
Comfort Keepers offers elder care services to veterans in Pasadena, La Cañada Flintridge, Altadena. and the surrounding areas in California
Comfort Keepers is proud to care for Veterans in their homes in Pasadena, California. We aim to meet the complex care needs of our Veteran clients and enhance their quality of life by delivering skilled support and in-home assistance. As veterans age, they will, in the same way that other seniors will require some level of assistance with the activities of daily living. Most seniors, including veterans, express a desire to remain in their homes as they age rather than move into an assisted living facility or nursing home. Caregiver support at home allows veterans to pursue their dreams.
We also provide respite care for family caregivers who require a little assistance in striking a balance between providing care and taking care of their own needs. If you have any questions about our in-home care services, please call (626) 321-9766. We're glad to assist!

Our caregivers are qualified to provide all of the elder care services a Veteran needs to remain as independent at home as possible. Our care services include, but are not limited to:
- Personal Care, such as bathing, grooming, and maintaining personal hygiene
- The companionship between seniors and caregivers

- Grocery Shopping & Running Errands
- Transportation Services to doctors' appointments, local parks, or shops
- Medication Management
- Safety Care procedures and equipment
Each veteran's individual needs are taken into account when creating our in-home elder care plans. To foster close relationships and friendships, we also try our best to pair clients with caregivers who most closely match their personalities.
What Do You Need to Qualify?
We're here to assist you if you're unsure if you or a loved one is eligible for VA benefits. To be eligible for VA benefits, you must meet the following requirements:
- The veteran served in the military for at least 90 days.
- At least one day of active duty has to have occurred during a conflict.
- The veteran lacks the financial resources to pay for their own care.
If your senior parent seems to be eligible for VA benefits, Comfort Keepers can assist them in gathering the appropriate papers to submit with their application. We can also assist you in filling out the VA paperwork packet and locating an organization that can aid you with the procedure.
