About Hermosa Beach

With a population half the size of its neighbors Manhattan Beach and Redondo Beach, the city of Hermosa Beach exudes more of a small-town, cozy vibe. Due to its constant (but light) ocean breezes, the smog levels tend to be much lower than other parts of Los Angeles County. Visitors come for the great weather and infamous pier and stay for the fantastic culture and great local businesses. It is famous for its twice-yearly arts and crafts festival, Fiesta Hermosa. This 35-year tradition is held every Labor Day and Memorial Day.
