I have had good experiences with Comfort Keepers and have referred clients to them several times. The clients told me they were happy with the caregivers sent to them and said the office staff was very helpful. I will recommend Comfort Keepers again if needed.
My father and I have engaged Comfort Keepers to provide 24/7 service for the past four months and it's really been a great choice. We were super nervous, as we'd had a less than ideal experience with Accent Care; however, Sue B., their client services director, sealed the deal for us. She was sincere, kind, compassionate and very empathetic. She essentially instilled the confidence we needed to move forward. The care team has been consistent and very reliable - and they have turned out to be really kind, wonderful, caring people. For reference, my father has Parkinson's. The only reason he needs 24/7 is because of his fall risk due to the unpredictable nature of the mobility impact caused by the disease -- and to provide meals and light housekeeping. Otherwise, my dad is fully engaged mentally. If you are a loved one looking to find a solution, remember that there are only certain needs that can be met by a caregiver. Caregivers cannot replace loved ones, nor can they provide the level of companionship that may be missing. Focus on core needs and you will cope much better: safety and comfort are essential. The office staff was pleasant and helpful. The client care manager that came to give an assessment was very knowledgable, sincere, and gave us some good ideas to help my parents. Best of all, the assessment was free! So far, all the experiences I have had with their caregivers have been wonderful. It truly matters that a perfect match is found and comfort keepers will always work to find that. They are respectful, reliable and caring. Exactly the type of people that you would want to be helping your family members. I can truly say that they have become apart of my family. I would definitely recommend Comfort Keepers to anyone!
My family has used the services of Comfort Keepers, Buena Park office, on a regular schedule for the past two years. They have exceeded our expectation for both office staff and caregivers. I called Comfort Keepers a month or so ago because my father needed help. It turned out that he needed more help than they could provide, but Sue took my number, called around, and got back to me with the names of two nursing registries that could help. He just passed yesterday and I still remember how kind she was on the phone, and how she helped me find someone even when I couldn't use her agency. If you need companion care I think they're worth checking out.

My husband doesn't do much if I'm not home but if he was home alone he'd probably burn the house down. They watch him. He likes to cook his own food they make sure he doesn't walk away with the stove still on or anything like that. There isn't a whole lot that they have to do for us. Very ethical, intuitive, honest, helpful, experienced, accommodating, flexible to our needs and schedule and most importantly always answering their telephone or quickly returning your call. I employed Comfort Keepers Buena Park to help with the care of my 101 year old Mother who was in frail health and a fall risk.
