Through respite care we provide a Comfort Keeper who comes into the home to care for a senior client while the family caregiver takes a break or vacation to rest, goes to work or takes care of other responsibilities.

Comfort Keepers In-Home Care Services

Comfort Keepers offers a wide range of in-home care services tailored to the exact degree of support that a senior needs to live safely, happily and independently at home. We can schedule as few as three hours of service a week to 24/7 senior care. Our services include:

• Companionship Care provides seniors the assuring company of a Comfort Keeper, who also provides supportive services such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, medication reminders, assistance with grooming and dressing, errands and transportation.
• Personal Care helps seniors maintain their dignity through hygiene services such as bathing or showering, grooming, skin care, toileting and incontinence care, help with feeding and mobility and transfer assistance.
• SafetyChoice^® Technology Solutions are electronic devices that supplement care provided by Comfort Keepers and family caregivers and promote the safety of older adults when caregivers are not with them. These devices include an emergency response system, which seniors can activate with the push of a button to alert emergency help when they become ill or have an accident at home, and a medication management system, which reminds seniors to take their medicine on schedule and alerts a caregiver when a dose is missed. These devices are monitored by professionals at Comfort Keepers’ monitoring center.
• Post-Hospital Care and Support to help seniors and other clients recuperate at home after a stay in the hospital for surgery or treatment of injury or illness.
• Hospice Care support, to promote the quality of life and comfort of clients who are receiving hospice nursing care at home.
• Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care services for older adults at various stages of Alzheimer’s and dementia. Our Comfort Keepers receive special training to recognize the warning signs and symptoms and provide care that promotes quality of life and safety.
